The Promenade Bolingbrook is adding retail tenants for the new year while two existing tenants take up new space at the outdoor retail center
The new tenants are Kids Empire at 11,000 square feet and Bullvino's Brazilian Steakhouse at 8,300 square feet. They join City Soles, which opened at the property last month and occupies 2,000 square feet.
Additionally, FunFlatables and Mago Grill & Cantina - both of which have been tenants since 2019 - are relocating to new spaces at the 750,000-square-foot site. Mago Grill & Cantina's new space will be 7,000 square feet; FunFlatables' space will be 6,500 square feet.
Kristine Kuchler, a spokeswoman for the Promenade, said retailers are seeking a presence at the Bolingbrook site in part because of its location near expressway. "This advantageous location guarantees substantial access, visibility and traffic flow for our tenants," Kuchler said.
The Village of Bolingbrook has attracted a variety of businesses over the past two years. Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. this year opened a 100,000-square-foot micro-fulfillment center where robotics are part of the staff. Northern Tool + Equipment expanded its Illinois presence this summer with a store in Bolingbrook. And Star Cinema Grill, a Texas-based movie chain, in January 2022 signed a 10-year lease to operate a theater at The Promenade.
