Matthew Rodgers joined M & J Wilkow in 2018 as a Senior Vice President within the Acquisitions and Asset Management team, responsibilities shared within this group include the acquisition, management and disposition of commercial real estate assets.
Prior to Matthew's tenure with M & J Wilkow, he worked within the banking and financial services industry for 17 years at multiple national banks, of which 13 years were spent as a relationship and client manager within the bank's institutional real estate lending line of business. Activities in this role included new client-sponsor & loan originations, management of an existing commercial real estate loan portfolio, and growth of banking partnerships with existing commercial real estate client-sponsors, which included public and private REITs, REOCs, and CRE Funds.
Matthew's most recent position was with Fifth Third Bank leading its institutional real estate lending practice on the west coast, based in Los Angeles, beginning in 2010. Prior to that time, he worked for Fifth Third Bank in Chicago from 2008 - 2010, which followed his employment with LaSalle Bank/ABN AMRO, based in Chicago, from 2001 - 2007.
Matthew has a BBA from University of Wisconsin-Madison and a MBA from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management. Matthew participates in multiple real estate associations in Chicago and other markets, and various philanthropic organizations.
